We loved wandering around Santa Barbara, soaking up the sun and enjoying family bike rides along the coast! The spacious cottage gave us room to breathe, and the morning breakfast was a welcome treat as it was delivered right to our door.

In my wife’s opinion, a play area for kids would have been great.

Loved the cozy Weathervane cottage with its own balcony and fireplace. Perfect for winding down in privacy! The gardens are a serene escape, ideal for relaxing with a book. Plus, the evening hors d'oeuvres are a great way to mingle with other guests, and the complimentary tea and cookies available all day are a sweet touch!

Our family had an amazing stay at Simpson House Inn! The grounds are beautiful and serene, making it the perfect escape. Our suite was spacious with a cozy sitting area and a lovely fireplace. Each morning, we enjoyed a delicious three-course breakfast outdoors, which was a highlight for the kids. The location is fantastic, just a short walk to shops and the beach.

The atmosphere is just very nice, with this beautiful garden where you can sit and enjoy peace. Plus, the wine and hors d'oeuvres at 5:30pm were a real treat for us-totally unexpected and good.

The sun room featured tasteful decor and a stunning large sun deck, perfect for relaxing. The breakfast on the veranda was excellent, complemented by superb hors d’oeuvres with wine in the late afternoon.

Charming Parlor Room with a cozy ambiance! The beautiful grounds were perfect for lounging, and I adored the lovely afternoon scones—almost too good to share.

Now, if they could just train the kids not to play tag outside my window at dawn, I'd be ever so grateful! My beauty sleep deserves better than a toddler’s marathon.

During my visit, I loved strolling through the lovely gardens and then walking to Alameda Park, just a few steps away, which was perfect for soaking up the southern California sunshine and enjoying the local atmosphere. the easy stroll to the Santa Barbara Museum of Art made my weekend even more delightful as I took in the stunning exhibits and beautiful architecture nearby. Single travelers will appreciate how cozy the atmosphere was while still feeling very welcoming.
